About Katherine

Hi families! My name is Katie and I have 10 years of diverse and enriching child care experience. I'm looking for a nannying position for the summer and into the fall as I transition between careers and consider options for graduate school. I am currently a clinical research coordinator in the division of Neuropsychology at Children's National. Last summer, I was the Junior Unit Director at Chimney Corners Camp, a sleepaway camp in Western MA. Here I was responsible for the overall supervision of over 100 kids aged 7-10 and their counselors. I was also a counselor at Chimney for this same age group in previous years. I have nannied for several families throughout their summers, including a family of 4 girls (twins aged 4, a 7-year-old, and a 9-year-old) and two dogs. I have also been babysitting on and off since I was 13, for an age range of 6 months to 12 years old.
