I have decades of experience working with children - I got my first babysitting job when I was 10 years old and I've been working with children ever since. Through the years I've worked with children of all ages, and also children with special needs. My skills include nursing care for children with special medical needs, developmentally appropriate care for children with special needs, and the ability to maintain a calm and supportive environment. Kate is warm, kind, professional, and has abundant experience with neurodivergent children. She uses child-centered/child-led approach with the twins and does not try to “change” them. Kate sees every child as their own unique person. She treats them with respect and allows them to be themselves, while teaching them skills that they are able to learn.
