About Katie

Recreational therapist with over 11 years experience working with children with special needs. My career background is 8 years in an inpatient, high intensity hospital setting primarily in pediatrics with medically fragile children and now see private clients full time. I specialize in children with developmental delay as well as children with physical injuries. I have experience working with elderly population as well and work part time as a contractor in nursing homes around south Florida. I was a Guardian ad litem for children in the foster care system for 5 years. I am originally from North Carolina but I've been in south Florida for 11 years. I love children, and animals of all kinds, and am open to more jobs as needed.
