As a high school student, I was given training and provided respite care to families of children with disabilities. As an adult I worked for a couple of years at Dakot Abilities in South Dakota where I helped individuals with developmental disabilities to perform work and tasks and assisted them with eating and in the bathroom. Although I don't have a lot of availability, I would love to give parents / caregivers a break for a night out!
