About Karen

I love teaching! I delight in connecting with students and exploring a variety of subjects. I have classroom experience as a high school history teacher, a preschool teacher, and a substitute teacher for all K-12 subjects. I also have a lot of fun teaching English online. I am ready to engage in learning online with you as well! I loved raising our four children, who are all adults on their own now. I delight in connecting with our four grandchildren, whether in person or online. I currently live with my pastor husband in Pennsylvania. Throughout my life I have lived in Central America, Africa, and several states in the US. I have lived in major metropolitan areas and in rural places without electricity or running water. These varied experiences have given me a wonderfully broad appreciation of many different people and cultures. I look forward to getting to know you too!
