About Debbie

I am a PA certified elementary teacher with many years of childcare and teaching experience, including 8 years teaching abroad. I was a 3rd-grade teacher at an international school in Lima, Peru for 5 years, and worked as a reading specialist for an additional 3 years at the same school. I have experience caring for and teaching students of all ages, including many English language learners. Prior to my time in Lima, I worked for several years in childcare, teaching and tutoring children from infancy to 12 years. Since returning to Pennsylvania in 2016, I have worked as a nanny to two young children, as a private tutor for a small elementary home school group, a long-term fifth-grade substitute at Hershey Elementary, and as a preschool teacher in Hershey. I also now have two children of my own, born in November 2019 & January 2023. I'm currently interested in tutoring jobs that allow me to stay home with my sons during the day.
