About Kara

I'm a full-time aunt in a life transition and looking to help/join a family while I build back, both personally and professionally. On paper, I did the desk-thing for 16+ years, but what is not shown is the part of my life that's entirely dedicated to the children/babies I get to call mine. Biologically, I have 7 nieces and nephews ranging from 10mo-8yo and several other youngins who call me "Auntie Kara" by way of my best friends. I've fully participated in the caregiving of most of them and since leaving my last job, I've been an on-call nanny for my siblings' children; specifically, I have nannied 2 of my infant nephews each week for the last year. I am comfortable with newborns to school-aged children and feel that my maternal instinct is something I was born with. I understand that the decision on who watches your children is the most important decision you will make, and I honor and respect that and will give your baby/child just as much attention and care as I would my own.
