About Julia

Working with children is my passion! I am a career nanny/ family assistant of 7 years, with a focus on infancy and toddlerhood. Previously, I was a lead teacher at the Handwork Studio & the Yocum Institute, managing creative arts classrooms of up to 16 littles, aged 5-12. I am a certified Nurturing Nanny in the RIE Educaring approach; and I am passionate about educating myself in communication techniques that help kids feel respected and empowered within a framework of firm boundaries and routine. I also place high value on helping kids understand and regulate their emotions. I feel honored to help little ones develop habits and life skills that will positively impact their futures for years to come! I also thrive on helping families feel supported within their households, so that they can spend their precious free-time together in more LOVE and CONNECTION. I offer a host of household management services from cooking family meals to taking out the trash, in addition to childcare.
