About Jordan

Hello! My name is Jordan and I am a third-year student at the University of Vermont studying communication sciences and disorders. After graduation, I will be attending a graduate program for speech-language pathology and will be working as an elementary school SLP. I love the outdoors, and have so much fun finding new places to explore in Vermont. I also love to make art, especially painting, crochet, and photography. For the past two summers at home, I have worked as a paraeducator at a therapeutic day school for kids with emotional and behavioral challenges, many of whom were diagnosed with autism. I spent my time in the elementary classroom with ages 8-11 helping with schedule management, emotional regulation skills, and assisting with academics. The program took the kids to weekly field trips as well as weekly swimming days, both of which I supervised.
