About Jessica

My name is Jess and I'm a current Occupational Therapy Doctorate student at Pacific University. I have been a tutor for students from around the world for six years, helping them achieve goals ranging from reading their favorite story on their own, to writing an A+ research paper, to passing the U. S. Naturalization Test to become an American citizen. I particularly enjoy tutoring students in English reading, speaking, writing, and grammar. With my professional background in healthcare and current education in OT, I am also comfortable tutoring students in anatomy, physiology, and psychology. I approach tutoring as a partnership--I want students to be active participants throughout the tutoring process and feel empowered to take ownership of their learning. Tutoring sessions can be in person or virtual and I typically work with students once or twice per week. I'm looking forward to working with you!
