About Natalie

As an experienced tutor, I am here to provide personalized, effective learning support. I'm a caring advocate and effective bridge between students and school. I see my role as a teacher and collaborator and my strength is meeting students where they are at. I completed a Master's in English and I've been trained in teaching and tutoring writing, especially at the high school and college levels. I specialize in tutoring writing, but I've taught many subjects as a tutor at multiple learning centers, including the Sylvan Learning Center and the Huntington Learning Center. In these positions, I learned how to adapt my teaching strategies to reach students from diverse cultural backgrounds and help support students with different learning challenges. Over the past four years, I've been a private tutor for a wide age range of students and I've helped students navigate the challenges of distance learning during COVID.
