About Jessica

as a CNA of 5 years, I am able to help tend to the needs of my residents/clients and provide quality care when required. I assist with changing clothes and give adequate hygiene care. I am able to assist with toileting in a timely manner. I share laughter with the elderly during meals and if needed assist with feeding. Some of my tasks include assisting with showering/bathing when entailed. When needed, I empty the trash cans in the resident's apartments. I assist with participation in activities or festivities that the resident may express interest in. Whilst working for the Retreat I have also extended my knowledge towards Dementia and how to accommodate the residents or their care plan. This position has offered me new skills when approaching or redirecting residents, to make them feel more safe and comfortable with their surroundings. I also help stay on top of keeping supplies stocked and tidiness of the resident's homes.
