I have worked in specialty education (primarily autism) and with the disabled population for 20+ years. Most of my experience is with kids but worked with adults thru People, Inc for 4. 5 years. While with People, Inc, I received quite a bit of specialty medical training (i. e. g-tube, general med administration). I worked as a certified occupational therapy assistant and have experience as an elderly caregiver, providing companionship, meals, ambulation assistance, medication monitoring, and personal care (toileting, bathing). I truly love providing companionship and general household support to the elderly population-they have such wisdom and amazing life stories! I have reliable transportation and can provide several references.
