About Jena

Jena was a teacher at my licensed childcare center and worked with children who ranged in ages from 6 weeks to 10 years old. Jena was punctual and a dependable employee. She quickly jumped right in and enthusiastically accepted all responsibilities her position had to offer. Jena is able to walk that fine line between "the fun one" and "the disciplinarian." That is not an easy task, but Jena manages it with ease, and as such is able to retain the children's respect. We may not always think that a child respecting us is important, but it really does go a long way in keeping a child (and, in the process, his/her caregiver) happy. Jena's ability to gain a child's respect convinces me that she is destined to be in this line of work. I've seen her in action with her class on many occasions and was impressed with her organization, compassion, sense of humor, passion for learning and positive attitude. She has an amazing understanding of how to relate to children and how to facilitate their cognitive growth and development. Jena loves to play games with children of all ages and is a wonderful problem solver. She is able to work with children at any developmental level. I would highly recommend Jena to any parent looking for top-quality childcare.
