Hello! I am an Early Childhood special education teacher who is passionate about providing the very best care to kiddos of all abilities. I have my bachelors degree in early childhood and special education and have various experiences working with children within and beyond the classroom. I worked at the Children's Learning and Care Center on the UW Oshkosh campus for a few years while I attended the university. There, I worked with children as young as 2 months through 5 years old. I have been babysitting for over 12 years and love children with my whole heart. I also worked at Easter Seals WI Camp for four years caring for children and adults with disabilities, worked for three summers as a nanny for a family with three children, including one son with autism, and was an autism behavioral therapist while I was in college. I am excited to connect with new families and children in the Milwaukee area and am available to provide evening, weekend and summer care!

Allyssa has become our 'go-to' babysitter for evenings and weekends. We have 3 boys under age 3 and she watches all of them so very effortlessly. She is one of those unicorn people that is born to be around children. Allyssa is reliable, trustworthy, patient, compassionate and kind. From the moment she walks in the door, she brings herself to the floor to be on little people level. With no family in WI, she has become the next best thing for us and we are extremely grateful to have found her through Care.com.

Hi, my name is JoAnn and I am a licensed family childcare provider.

I am a strong supporter of In-Home Family Childcare as a way to care for infants to preschoolers outside of their own homes. It's a wonderful setting for children in their first 3 years of life. I know that there are great group centers out there for children, but while they are still so little and young, a home environment is best.

My daycare is a safe environment that offers them a variety of choices and presents them with appropriate challenges. Since play is the vehicle through which children learn, I do everything I can to promote it and make it fun for them. I offer a variety of materials and activities and allow the children the time and freedom to make choices, become involved, experiment and practice skills to be creative and interact with each other.

I provide age appropriate activities in a safe and nurturing environment with lots of love and one on one attention. I provide the learning and experiences you would get in a group center blended with comforts of home. My daycare is a place where we laugh, learn, make friends and explore.

It is my mission to provide outstanding care for your child.
I want you to have peace of mind while your children are at my home.

I have several openings and would love for your little one to join us.
