Having been deeply moved by my mothers fall into Alzheimer's and my fathers losing battle with Parkinson's, I've made it my business to become informed about the challenges of helping a loved out with these life altering diseases. I was blessed to have had awesome care for my parents, and adequate support for the caregivers, and I think everyone should have that peace of mind. I am happy to sit with, read to, listen to and comfort your loved one. I am a good cook and will prepare healthy food, make sure meds are taken, hydration is attended to, as well as basic hygiene and mobility. I will happily listen to whatever stories s/he wants to tell, and will encourage the sharing of happy memories. I'm well read and broadly educated, making me a good companion to a client desiring intellectual stimulation, but I'm equally happy caring for and engaging with seniors of all interests and education levels.

Janet has been an amazing caregiver for my senior parents, who need assistance with shopping, cooking, appointments, and household tasks. My dad is disabled and requires additional assistance. When I hired Janet, I told her I needed a caregiver who could solve problems and figure things out on her own. Janet is extremely intelligent, caring, and dedicated. She can figure out just about anything, from hiring experts to fixing toasters, arranging other caregivers' schedules, and purchasing appropriate medical equipment. She is an excellent cook, loves to bake, and really goes above and beyond to make my parents feel happy and secure. I can't imagine a better caregiver for my parents.
