About Jamie

I am a retired senior (active & young at heart!) who raised 2 daughters as a single parent. I also helped raise 2 grandsons both w special needs & they have both grown into fine young men. I love gardening cooking & the great outdoors all of which I have in abundance here in the northwest! When I moved here three years ago I took a nanny position taking care of a 6-month-old precious baby girl & was with her until her family moved (navy family) when she was 2 1/2 years old. It was hard as we had become family but I still keep in touch with them & I am still Nana to the now 31/2-year-old! for the last nine months have been a nanny to a baby boy ( started watching him at 7 months old) and loved my time spent with him. His mother unexpectedly had her hours cut at the veterinary hospital she worked at & unfortunately I am no longer needed but I wouldn't trade the experience of taking care of him for anything! I am looking for a long term position knowing Iwould a positive influence.
