Hi! I had the honor of being a full time live-in caregiver for a special needs child (Rett Syndrome) for 5+ years. I'm currently working with Seniors (5+ years). Caregiving is not just a job for me, it's a rewarding experience that I want to continue. People often say to me, "Wow. That's a lot of responsibility. I couldn't do it...". My response is always, "People tend to take for granted the little things they're able to do, such as feeding ourselves. But trust me if they were also able to do it, they would.
