About Heather

Hi, my name is Heather. I am a mom to six and have six grandbabies. I have a B. A. in Sociology and have worked in the childcare industry for 25 years. I have lived in Florida and operated licensed home childcare while working as a foster parent. We are moving back at the end of May and I will be licensed for home childcare there also. I hold staff/directors credentials with VPK endorsement for Florida . I was a school readiness provider and received several grants for enhancing our program. I am director qualified in Illinois. I maintain current CPR, first aid and food handler certification. My goal is to have your child prepared for kindergarten through engaging play along with weekly themed curriculum and field trips. We host parties throughout the year as well. Our home is pet friendly to both dogs and cats, all have been raised in home daycare. I'm a huge Disney fan as you'll see by our daycare space and I absolutely love Christmas and to be outside working in my yard.
