Hello! I have been tutoring for 6 years, and have worked with students of all ages and abilities. My three main areas of expertise are: 1. Special Needs Tutoring. I have lots of experience working with students with autism and ADHD. I use evidence backed techniques to help students focus and retain information, even if they process information differently than most people. 2. Early Reading Development. Did you know many schools don't teach phonics these days? Despite trends in public education, evidence continues to show that focused teaching on phonics and decoding is the best way to teach children to read. Focusing on the nitty gritty core skills sets children up for success in the long term as their readings become more difficult. 3. ACT test prep. I scored a 36 on my first time taking the ACT.
