In college, I was an intern at an after school program for middle school students. At this program I assisted students with their homework, helped implement test taking and studying strategies, and worked on improving math and reading scores. I graduated from the University of Kentucky Magna Cum Laude with a B. A. in Elementary Education. I have field experience teaching K-5 and am currently teaching second grade.
