About Haley

For the last three years I have worked one overnight per week caring for a beautifully aging soul with Alzheimer's. She has been recently moved into a memory care facility where I still spend one evening a week as her companion. When we were at her home my responsibilities were, bathing, bathrooming, preparing food and feeding, giving medication, light house keeping and companionship. Prior to my full time position at the school I currently work at, I did home visits for people who were considered mentally incapacitated by the state. Several of the friends I've visited, had Alzheimer's, dementia and many other ailments caused by the aging process. I enjoyed each end every visit as they gave me my passion for caregiving to the elderly along with children.
