About Felicia

Hi! My name is Felicia (or Ms. Felicia, as my students call me). I'm a writer and educator living in Pontiac. Throughout the school year, I work as a K-12 poetry teacher, a college English professor, and a substitute teacher. Now that my schedule is opening up for the summer, I'm looking to take on some students for tutoring! I have been teaching in the areas of English, ESL, grammar, reading, literacy, writing (academic and creative), and general Elementary subjects for the past 12 years. I work with students across all age groups and learning levels: from preschool through adulthood; from children who are just learning to read, to college students seeking help with essays. I can tutor one-on-one or in a group, and I work with a wide array of learning styles and levels of interest. I am experienced with learners with exceptionalities.
