About Jill

I'd describe my personality as kind, passionate and patient. I like tutoring because it gives me an opportunity to spark the joy of learning in others. I'm looking for a job that is focused on improving the reading skills of students. I started tutoring when I was in college. I have also been a special education teacher for 20 years. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time with my kids and travel. One thing you should know about me is that I have an extensive background in reading instruction. My skills include balancing instruction with fun, individualized lesson that are data driven and engagement.
