When I was 16 I went to a family every week to nanny a Down syndrome boy who was 3 years old. That summer I volunteered at a center for seven weeks, where I assisted in a classroom of 10 special needs children. There I fed, cleaned and educated the children. I did this again the following summer. In addition, I have twin sisters who were sick and therefor I have experience with oxygen tanks and feeding tubes. I am young but I am committed.
