My name is Fauzia (FOE-zee-ah) and I am a full-time research scientist, part-time aspiring educator. I finished my Ph. D. in chemistry at the University of Chicago in 2022, where I was a teaching assistant for various undergraduate chemistry courses. In my free time, I participated in an after-school science program where we introduced science concepts to local elementary students. I also mentored minority students in the graduate program as a part of an initiative to improve student retention. I have two additional years of chemistry teaching experience as a teaching assistant at my undergraduate college, Benedictine University.
