About Erin

I am a certified and experienced reading and writing tutor. I have taught English/language arts for 11 years in both public and private schools. I have a B. A. in English/Writing and an M. A. in English Education. I am able to provide enrichment or remediation to your child in grades K-12. I use current teaching methods and provide dynamic, skill-based lessons. I can support your child with reading fluency, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and technical and expressive writing skills. Also, I teach organization and executive functioning strategies. References are provided upon request. In addition to private tutoring, I teach 5th and 6th grade in the Franklin Special School District. Previous to this, I taught in Williamson County Schools and in Glenview, IL, a suburb of Chicago.
