About Emma

Hello! I have 10+ years experience working with children ages 2months-13years. I am currently a pre-K teacher at Seattle Public Schools and have worked as a nanny, arts teacher, and mudeum educator. I am looking to do some child-care and pet sitting during the summer I have my MA in Museums from UW and am especially interested in fostering appreciation for the arts, history and the natural world. I love planning fun crafts, field trips, and at home activities that connect children to these values. My speciality is patience and kindness. I love making children laugh and encourage both joy and calmn. I have a soft spot for infants and toddlers but enjoy working with all ages! I also have experience working with neurodivergent children and have received training on sensory differences and pediatric O. T. techniques. Please note my usual availability is M-F 7:00-5:00 p.m. for regular daily/weekly childcare work. I do have flexibility for weekends and evenings as well.
