About Emma

I have been in childcare for 10+ years both in the home as a nanny and at a Montessori school. I am experienced with children all ages (newborn to teen) as well as multiple children. I was responsible for 10 children, under at 5, at the Montessori school by myself. I really enjoy doing activities, taking walks, visiting libraries, parks, arts and crafts, etc. with the children. It is such a great joy to see a child learn and enjoy learning and discovering new things. I really believe in being positive with children. It is amazing how quickly they learn and the happiness it brings. I am CPR/first aid certified and have taken childcare classes. I have a bachelor's degree in interior design. Some of my interests include cooking, making jewelry, sewing, being outdoors and traveling.

We hired Emma for a night to babysit our 5 month year-old daughter when we were visiting Asheville a few weeks ago. She was on time, communicative and great with the baby. We felt comfortable leaving the baby with her and she sent us updates regularly. Would definitely recommend her!
