About Sarah

I am a graduate with an MA in Psychology and a singer/songwriter who moved to Asheville from the UK. I have experience caring for two children, aged two and five as a nanny, as a youth development attendant where I worked with babies and infants and as an afterschool youth mentor where I worked with groups of 5 to 10-year-olds. I have additional experience working at a Montessori school for 3 to 5-year-olds, volunteering as an English Language Assistant with Elementary school children in Italy, volunteering as a musician for a school pantomime, and working with special educational needs students in a middle school in the UK. I am caring, devoted and seek to understand and meet the needs of the children in my care whilst reinforcing and upholding clear boundaries. I enjoy working with children creatively and can offer acoustic guitar lessons if that is something that is of interest to your child/children.
