I am passionate about my work and I love to care for people. I am extremely patient, well read, very practical, spiritually motivated and open to any take on life. I have a beautiful Cadillac XT5 to take my clients to appointments, errands or on scenic drives. I am confident in my ability to assess any situation. I've raised three college educated children and have been happily married for 30+ years. I'm told I have a great sense of humor and I'm a very good cook. I am nationally certified in Alzheimer's and Dementia care. Working with elders and their families has been my greatest joy. I have recently added post-surgical home care to my resume and am happy to discuss short-term care needs, including medication management and at-home care.

Ellen has provided high-level companion services for a clients of mine over the past three years. She goes out of her way to ensure clients receive the greatest benefit from the visits by reading books she knows the client has read, also perusing the newspaper each morning cover to cover, and takes the time to get to know each client's family members. Ellen has also taken an interest in one client's faith, and brings her regular updates and information from the senior's church community, going above and beyond her duties! She always dresses professionally so her clients, and their family members, are proud to be seen with her.
