Hello, I'm so glad to meet you! My name is Elisabeth and I'm 29 years old. I recently moved back to Chicago last fall after being away for school since 2009. I have been working in childcare for over 10 years and I'm excited to now have an extra degree in music to bring to the families which I work. During my studies, I focused primarily on learning how to incorporate the Kodály approach to music education in my teaching which emphasizes the importance of both age-appropriate challenge and play. These concepts encourage young musicians to embrace new ideas and skills through games, folk songs, and dance and to be fearless in the face of obstacles.
