Hello! I'm so glad to meet you. My name is Elisabeth, and I'm 29 years old. I recently moved back home to Chicago last fall after being away for school since 2009. I have been working in childcare for over 10 years, and am excited to now have an extra degree in music to bring to the families with which I work. During my studies, I focused on learning as much as I could about the Kodály concept which emphasizes the importance of early childhood music education. This approach encourages students to embody and embrace new concepts and teaches them how to break down large, challenging sections of material into smaller, more digestible units through games, folk songs and dance. These are valuable life skills that can be taught to children of all ages! I'm looking forward to working (and singing) with your little ones.
