After being a Stay-at-Home dad for 3 children for 12 years, I returned to work when my kids were old enough. I worked for a Residential Care Facility for Adults with Special Needs and then for a biotech company. We moved and I decided to go back to college and get my degree which I finished up in the summer of 2023. Working with people with Autism and Down syndrome was one of the most rewarding jobs I had, besides being a stay-at-home dad. I know that the patience required to help other people I was blessed with plenty. I am a full-time Dad of an amazing 15-year-old son. My daughter just went off to college in Southern California. I have some extra time and would love to get back into care giving to get my feet wet in the working world again.
