About Diane

I have taught locally for over 20 years and enjoy working with students to help them build confidence in their abilities to learn new things. I like to make learning fun. I like to work with students that can benefit from additional support in reading, phonics, comprehension, phonemic awareness, problem solving, math, computer science, or art. I particularly enjoy combining learning activities from a variety of sources to make learning fun. I have taught 1st-5th grade for over 20 years locally. I hold a Masters in Elementary Education with ESOL and Reading endorsements. In addition to teaching reading and math, I am a certified media specialist, art instructor, and computer science instructor. My skills include phonics instruction, phonemic awareness instruction, mathematics instruction, art instruction, and computer science instruction. I am creative and skilled in tutoring and creating unique experiences to make learning fun.
