About Deedra

Hello! My name is Deedra, and I am a certified special education teacher with over 10 years of experience helping students with diverse learning needs achieve their fullest potential. Throughout my career, I have worked with students across a variety of ages and grade levels, providing individualized support in subjects ranging from literacy and math to social skills development and executive functioning I take a student-centered approach to tutoring, tailoring each lesson to meet the unique needs of my students. My background in special education allows me to incorporate various strategies and interventions to help students with learning differences, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and other challenges. My goal is to not only improve academic performance but also build confidence and self-esteem, so students feel capable of reaching their goals.
