About Dahanne

Hello, my name is Dahanne. I am an elementary school teacher with 3 years of experience teaching 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade. I also have half a year of experience working in a preschool with children aged 3 months to 5 years old as an assistant. I hope that you will choose me to be your tutor. Throughout my years of teaching, I've learned methods of instruction that work. I've had students in first grade who did not know how to read, but I took them through what I like to call a reading boot camp. The students who started in my class not being able to read were able to successfully leave my classroom being able to read. I have experience working with a wide variety of curriculums including the Abeka curriculum. I also have experience making lesson plans and worksheets from scratch to fit the child's needs or to provide extra practice and support. You will not be disappointed in choosing me as a tutor. I value making sure my students are well-prepared for the next grade level.
