About Mona

I am a certified teacher with a masters degree in reading education. I have been in the classroom for over 10 years teaching all subject areas in K-5. For the past 5 years I have tutored equestrian students who come in town for the season from all over the country. I also work with students who are home schooled. I am happy to tutor in science, math, and social studies but my passion is reading and writing. Through the use of creative, hands on, and fun activities, I help children become engaged and successful students. I have 2 children in middle school and I love watching students take pride in their work as they learn new information.
