I have been working with developmental disabilities for 5 years with the adults and children with learning disabilities with individuals ranging in age from 5-21. Nothing gives me a sense of pride and duty quite like this work. I have First Aid, AED, Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention training, and I have attended multiple seminars on abuse, and respect relating to work with individuals with special needs. I love working with both children and adults and I hope I get the opportunity to continue working in this field and meeting more interesting and loving individuals through my work.
