Two years ago, I began working with special needs students at a school for special needs students, I handled first through twelfth grade. My duties at the school included supervising between 5 and 10 students in the afternoon as they completed their homework and played until their parents came to pick them up. The students I have worked with have had a range of special needs including ASD, Down Syndrome, ADD/ADHD, Turrets and Bipolar Disorder. I originally came to college as a Psychology and Criminal Justice Major but after 2 months of working at CBA, I realized that working with special needs students is what I want to do with the rest of my life. I have a passion to help people in general and an even greater passion to help special needs students live fun and awesome lives!
