Hi! I'm Cassidy:) I have been working on a 24/7 basis with kids every summer since I was 16! I work for a summer camp program called MAC (mainstreaming at camp). MAC is a program through YAI that provides the space and support for kids with developmental/intellectual disabilities to go to camp and make friends! Working at camp has given me a ton of great experience in supporting people with their ADLs (activities of daily living), socialization, and communication. I have truly found that it is one of the best things this world has to offer and has been one of the best experiences of my life. Being a fierce advocate is one of my greatest strengths, which is what got me into this line of work. I intend to start school school again soon ( I am on a break) to become a teacher in special education next fall. Supporting people and children is what I am most passionate about and I wouldn't be as happy doing any other kind of job. I am kind, reliable, and caring!
