Hi! My name is Carly and I am a South Florida native. I have a bachelors degree in Hospitality Mgmt. from UCF but for 4 years after college I taught English as a second language in South Korea. I specialized in Reading at a TOEFL prep school for 2 years and taught the Rosetta Stone program for 2 years. I also tutored high school students for entrance exams. I have my teaching certificate for K-6 in the state of Florida. I taught in the Broward County Public School system for 5 years and now 3 years in Palm Beach County. I have taught 4th and 5th grade since 2016. I have my Reading K-12 and ESOL Endorsements. I am very patient and can relate to students to ensure academic understanding.
