About Tracy

I teach high schoolers at an alternative high school in Palm Beach, FL. I am the Reading Interventionist and work with students who are 5 or more years below grade level in reading. I am Florida certified English 6-12 teacher with my K-12 reading endorsement and have been teaching reading and language arts for four years. I attended my Master of Education for Elementary Education through Nova Southeastern University and my Dyslexia certification through the University of Florida. My first two years of teaching I taught language arts and intensive reading for grade 6 through 12, and the last two years I have been teaching at an alternative high school as a reading coach. By the end of the school year, I will also be getting my Literacy Coach endorsement through the Department of Florida. I also worked as a substitute at several elementary schools in New Jersey. I believe that learning should be fun and in a relaxed environment and tailored to the students needs.
