About Carin

My passion for caregiving emerges from a desire to take a break from corporate America, finding pleasure in supporting families, and understanding the importance of nurturing the growth of children. I prioritize open communication with parents, respecting their preferred methods and following their lead in enforcing household rules. My activities with children range from educational games to writing and storytelling projects. I hold a graduate degree in Communication and am conversationally proficient in Dutch, English, and French and I understand and can speak Spanish to a limited degree. When it comes to helping out, I'm happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and crafts. I have completed both First Aid and CPR training in the past and am willing to renew those certifications. I have a car and am comfortable with pets.
