My name is Candy. I am 24 years old, and currently a full-time graduate student at Fordham University (MSW program). I am seeking a part-time babysitting or nanny position; I have worked with children for a few years now and I can honestly say, I love it! I have both professionally and personally working with infants, toddlers, kids, adolescents and the elderly for some years now. Professionally, I've been lucky to have gotten some experience while interning at Early Head Start as well as working as a mental health counselor for an in-home service program in Waterbury and as an ABA worker doing in-home services. I've also worked as both a homemaker and companion doing in-home services for the elderly during my undergrad. I am also blessed to have the cutest baby brothers I can ask for. One of my younger brothers is 13, whom I've cared for since he was much younger, and another little brother whose currently 8. I have extensive training with children with mental health diagnosis. I have Applied Behavioral Analysis training (ABA), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training (CBT), Trauma Focused Therapy (TFCBT) and many Developmental Psychology classes. I am very flexible and I am open to many activities. I love being active, outdoors, playing games and doing arts and crafts. During the summer time, I enjoy going for hikes, camping, kayaking, swimming, playing sports and relaxing by the beach.
