In 2019 I was an intern for 4 weeks in South Africa where I assisted in gross motor development for children with autism, cerebral palsy and down syndrome. In May of 2022 I went back to South Africa to intern at School for Autistic Learners, where I worked under the supervision of the occupational therapist. I led group exercises for males aged 15-18 and worked individually with two different students. I am very passionate about caring for those with special needs as I feel they bring such a bright and kind radiance into the lives of others.
