About Brooke

I am an active, creative, experienced child care provider and stay-at-home mom looking for the right family for one-time or part-time employment. I love to swim, hike, bike, get artsy, and hang out outside. I do like to be home, but I prefer to get out and have some active fun with kids, even if it's just pushing the stroller around town or swimming at the Rec. In my younger years I was a babysitter and nanny for many families and I have worked with children and teens my whole life in various settings; private homes, youth in a foster group home, special needs classroom, summer camps, art center programming, etc. For three years I directed a youth program for a non-profit. My responsibilities included mentoring youth (ages 11-18) and coaching adult volunteers to do the same. Preferred matches are ones where I can being my easygoing 18-month-old during the day while my 6-year-old is at school, but will consider all needs. Thanks for reading!
