About Brittany

I'd describe my personality as compassionate and trustworthy with a good sense of humor! I like working with kids because I always find so much joy in seeing them explore, learn, and grow. I started working with kids when I was a kid myself! I was 12 years old when I became a karate teacher. I was inspired to then go on to study education. I worked in schools in Cambridge and Boston in a number of different roles, including: reading specialist, social emotional learning teacher, and science special educator. One thing you should know about me is I care about children's well-being first. I am present when I am with kids and my phone is away unless needed for emergencies. I believe kids deserve and require our full attention. I am also a strong believer in helping kids move through emotions and navigate conflict, which I support kids with through play. After safety, having fun is my next priority! In my spare time, I like to enjoy time with my dog and my partner. :)
