About Sarah

Hello! My name is Sarah and I am a recent graduate from Lesley University receiving an MA in Mental Health Counseling. I previously worked in elementary and special education and have been caring for children in daycare, camp, and school environments for over 10 years. I live in Cambridge and I am available nights and weekends for occasional babysitting jobs. Reach out with any questions! I'd describe my personality as friendly, compassionate, and kind. I like working with kids because I love being around their unwavering sense of joy and wonder and supporting them in their growth. I started working with kids when I was a teenager through babysitting jobs and working at a daycare. In my spare time, I like to read, write, walk around my neighborhood and play my ukulele! My skills include deescalation when children are experiencing big emotions, patience, and emotional attunement. I love working with children with disabilities and accommodating to their individual needs.
