My husband was diagnosed with stage four colo-rectal cancer in 2000. He had surgery in June of 2000 and after a long hard struggle, he is still going and is cancer free. He developed several side effects from the chemo-therapy and radiation, such as "Stills Disease" and Diabetes. We still battle the Stills disease from time to time. My dream (before marriage) was to become a surgical tech. I love helping people. I am compassionate to others, and really think that I could make a difference to them. Just being there helps. I am on Social Security and could use a little extra income, but I have five different types of arthritis, so a stay at home job is mandatory for me. I can handle it!
